Best friends live forever in the memories we keep.
This has been heavy on my heart for some time, as my own fur baby, Jarvis reaches his elderly years I know that I want to capture as many beautiful memories with him as I can. I have learned so much from being a pet owner and one thing I know most of all it is never easy when it comes time for them to cross the Rainbow Bridge.
After all, it's never "just a" dog or "just a" pet. It’s the moments we laugh, the quirky looks, the unique personality, and the love we share with one another. I am now going to be offering Over the Rainbow Sessions. These will be available to those who want to celebrate their pet’s life and love in a special and long-lasting way. I will say now and promise that I will always approach these sessions with zero judgment and complete compassion.
Release the worry, embrace the moment.
No matter the time limit you may have with your best friend, your time at your session will be at your pace. Take the moment to release from the stress and uncertainty of this time of your life and breathe. We can choose a special location, or in the comfort of your own home. This is your story, I am just here to help publish it.
Priority Scheduling Available
Please reach out if your session may be needed urgently. Every effort will be made to accommodate your desired session date and I also offer time-sensitive “emergency” sessions that can be scheduled outside of my regular session times; these sessions incur a $80 additional fee.
Your questions answered…
Why would someone want to have a session like this? In all honesty, losing a pet is one of the most uncertain times a person can go through. It can be a whirlwind of decisions, financial pressure, uncertain emotions, and heavy sadness, sometimes even guilt. As pet owners, we have to trust that we are doing the right thing for the animal at the right time and that alone has its ups and downs. These photographs are meant to capture the little things that you'll want to remember: the way your pet's paw felt in your hand, his/her familiar expressions, those funny quirks, and the love you share with one another. Clients who have done this type of session will have beautiful keepsake images to help bridge the gap between life and memories. For most, these sessions will be a positive choice and a celebration of life and love.
These types of sessions are not for everyone, and there is nothing wrong with that, there also may come to a point where a session may not be an option too. I will always do my best to navigate that with you and help you through that decision process.
Do you offer edited images? Absolutely, I will always do my best to retouch images in a curated, honorable way that showcases your pet despite their age or ability. I will always do my best to edit out blemishes, missing fur, lumps/bumps, tear stains, and more. I would be happy to hear from the client during a pre-consult on what they may want the editing focus to be on.
Will the session include any images or prints? Yes, you will receive a gallery of edited, retouched if needed, images, and a free photo gift of your choice from the gallery store up to $125 value. That may be a print, a photo album, a canvas, or another form of artwork. It is the client’s discretion on how or when they showcase their photographs.

Session Fee: $175
Includes an option for a pre-session phone consultation, the on-location photo session that may include immediate family and up to two pets, a private online gallery of edited images, printing rights, professional print options, and a free photo gift of your choice from the photographer approved items (up to $125 value).

- Yummy Treat - $25 - want your pet to have a yummy treat? Ice cream cone, hamburger, or their fave snack? I will make sure to arrange this for your session.
- Floral collar - starting at $35 - custom handmade fresh florals for around the pet’s neck.
- Bandana - $15-$35 - Personalized bandana with pet’s name on leather patch.
- Short “behind the scenes” video - $45 - documentary style behind the scenes short video of the session
